dreamstime_7127831Are you on your way? Running just a few minutes late? We sure hope you’re coming! We’re still here waiting. Don’t you see us starring right now at YOU, with eager anticipation?

All you have to “do” is RISK a little and share 1000 words from your heart with us before August 31st. That’s it. Not a single word more.

Use our contest to launch your venture or formalize the one you have been calling “a hobby” or an occasional “side job” for all this time. What’s your E.T.A. to create for yourself, and others, a life founded in all you have to give? Learn more about the contest.

Contestant #1 Mary Farmilant

  1. Thank you for this opportunity! I look forward to entering the contest.

  2. Hello,
The artist symbol got my attention. I run a project here in Denver,Colorado. It is the NON-starving artist project. I started it in 1997. I wanted lay people to know ,we artists are not all hobbyists. Art is a business, artists need to learn this early. Entertainers and sports figures make all kinds of money. Well as quiet as it’s kept, many visual artists are banking also. I live a good art life on purpose. I have a good skill set that I have assembled over the years. No artist has to starve in America. I suggest to new artists to learn BUSINESS early. See the barn, paint the barn, sell the barn. Repeat often. You can see

  3. Hello!

I am making certain that my contest entry was received by you on November the first.

Also, when and where on this site will entries be viewable?

    Thank you very much.

It appears, until now, we have not been receiving emails! To answer your first question, that you sent to, which others may also be wondering, you are permitted to submit a video podcast that includes both anything visual that you deem appropriate and worthy of inclusion and your speaking voice. The only requirement is that you speak no more than 1000 words.

If you would like to resubmit your work, based on this answer, it will be accepted. Your submission will not post or be viewed, thus not voiding your entry, until I receive your reply.

As for where you can view contestants entries, they are in a separate category, below the sign up link, on the right column of this blog.

On behalf of the contest, thank you for your question and application.
